A series of four, multi-level residential dwellings requiring strategic planning around casting requirements, with fabrication and supply of multiple precast facade panels – all on a fast moving site.
A sprawling residential project consisting of four, three-storey standalone apartment buildings, 175 The Blvd utilises a series of textured precast panels to create subtle details and nuances across each dwellings facade, ultimately influencing the overall aesthetic of it’s buildings’ exteriors.
Melb Arch Precast were tasked with the supply of timber imprinted and brick inlay precast panels, along with a strategy required for certain casting needs. Melb Arch Precast also provided structural concrete cores and columns which formed the base of the structural integrity of all dwellings.
The timber formliner precast panels envelope each building, offering a unique timber / concrete imprint, complementing the dark metal cladding whilst providing a muted contrast against the gold metallic panels and slats.
Double-storey brick inlay panels that were designed to harmonise with the colour palette of the project, were fabricated offsite at the Melb Arch Precast factory.
“This was a fast moving site with multiple processes undertaken. A key pillar of Melb Arch Precast, we worked closely with the teams involved and ensured every project deliverable was met on time.”
